Deadly Jargums Project

Deadly Jargums is targeted towards primary school-based aged children, designed to;

  • Strengthen Aboriginal children’s connections to culture and
  • Improve school engagement
  • Provide accessible, pro social activities to the Aboriginal community
  • Develop social and emotional skills
  • Provide mentoring
  • Provide links to support for children and their families.

Currently operating in the Marrickville LGA, Deadly Jargum’s offers after school hours throughout the entire school term and during school holidays. We offer a range of purpose driven, culturally responsive activities to children aged 7-12 who are at risk and/or disengaged in the classroom in order to improve behaviours, increase/maintain their self-confidence, develop their skills and cultural identity.
